It takes friends to make the Friendliest.app work and we take your friendship very seriously. Friends shouldn't spy on you, friends shouldn't sell your information and friends shouldn't take money to influence your decisions.

Below we outline how we respect the privacy of our friends.

Privacy is a core value of the Friendliest.app, both your privacy as an individual and the privacy of the data you you may create and store with us.
WE DO NOT SELL YOUR DATA and we ensure we do not share data beyond what is absolutely necessary to deliver the functionality of our application.
This means that we do not utilize 3rd party marketing tools, user analytics or ad networks (targeted or otherwise).
Identity
If you choose to sign up for the Friendliest.app, we will ask for some identifying information, such as name and email address. This information is transmitted securely to us, encrpyted via SSL/TLS. Your identifying information will never be sold and will never be used to promote the Friendliest.app without your explicit permission.
Payments
If you choose to subscribe to the Friendliest.app, we will ask for your credit card information and billing zipcode. This information is collected directly by our payment processor and transmitted securely to them, ecrypted via SSL/TLS. Payment data does not go through our servers and it is not stored in our databases. We do receive and store transaction and subscription reference ID's from our payment processor which are stored in our databases and used to assist with suscription and payment issues. This information does not include your full credit card number.
Cookies and Tracking
We use first-party cookies to store user preferences and support our in-house analytics. A cookie is a data file stored by your browser to help it remember information such as your login information or preferences. We do not alter our app’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.
Information We Do Not Collect
We don’t collect any protected classification data, including age, race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, or physical and mental abilities or disabilities. We may come in contact with this data if you choose to share it, for example in an email signature or social media post.
Information We Share
By default, we do not share your information.
While we do not use any 3rd party tracking or analytics within the Friendliest.app, we do utilize some 3rd party services to run our application. These services include transaction email processors (sign-up confirmation email), payment processors and cloud hosting providers. Your Data Rights
As a user of the Friendliest.app, your have the:
  • Right to know what personal infomration is collected, used, shared or sold.
  • Right to access the personal information we collect.
  • Right to correct your personal information.
  • Right to erasure, to request your personal information to be removed from our possession. This will prevent a large amount of application functionality and will disqualify you from a paid subscription (which requires us to store identifying information).
  • Right to export all personal information we have and all data you've created
Data Security
All data is secured via HTTPS between the Friendliest.app and your browser. Identifying data can be stored unencrypted at rest in our databases. Passwords and other sensitive data are encrypted both in transit and at rest.
What Happens When You End a Subscription
While we hope you will never want to cancel your subscritpion we understand that things happen. When you end a paid subscription you account will immediately move to a free account. All data you created under your paid subscription is retained and you can continue to access it though you will no longer be able to update or change it.
Data Location
Our application and associated data are stored in the United States. For customers outside the United States, please note that any information you provide will be transferred into and stored in the United States. By using the Friendliest.app or subscribing to our services, you consent to this transfer.
